A former project manager with a technical background, Amy Rose is the creator of SurvivingSZA. Diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder in 2023 after a two-year episode, they launched this project to provide real-world tools and peer-led support for others living with SZA. They live in New York City with their dog and run online support groups for the SZA community.

Niko is an analytical propeller-head, a creative problem solver and a cynical idealist. He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2013 and schizoaffective disorder a year later in 2014. He enjoys different forms of art and culture in a diverse way, visiting art museums, art galleries and theatre, painting and drawing and making crafts. He is also studying both social work and industrial design as his majors.
